It has been one full moon cycle since I feel over and ended up with bruised and bloodied knees. I was adamant that it was time to make changes in my life and the prevalent energy of blahness (… is that a word?) should be banished. During the waning moon, I cut my hair, told my husband our marriage wasn’t working, wanted to sell the house and basically, wanted to throw everything away to begin again (intense waning energy in action!). All the while, I worked on releasing my own hurts, disappointments and limiting beliefs (as did my husband). Following a hunch to visit Chi Coffee Shop for a tarot share morning in Portsmouth everything changed. Have you ever just felt in your bones that you are in the right place at the right time? And as that realisation hits you so too does a wave of energy, knocking you backwards and shaking you to the core. That was the moment I realised the lesson wasn’t about throwing in the towel but mending what needed to be mended. Around me were a group of people I’d never met but it felt warm and welcoming. I did readings, I talked to people and I let my little world become just a little bigger and wider. It felt good. Really good. In this waxing half of the moon, I have ridden with the moon beams. I’ve been to healing shares, a Medicine Wheel evening, a drumming circle plus a solstice drumming picnic in the woods and have been expanding outwards. I’ve laughed more, had fun and have met so many lovely, amazing people. I dared to invite snake into my life on Saturday during the Medicine Wheel. Old skins need to be shed, I was stagnating not fully living before. I’m serious about my transformation. Today, on this summer solstice and full moon, I’ve arranged my first in-person full day workshop at Chi Coffee – Inner Goddess Awakening on 16th July. My comfort zone is behind the keyboard but I needed a new direction: this scares and excites me. I will also be giving a talk on chakras at a MBS fayre in Emsworth on 10th July and later on in the month, an evening talk at Waves of Inspiration in Lee-on-Solent on 26th July. I’ll be popping in to Chi Coffee on Wednesdays and Thursdays with my tarot deck and probably Sea Whispers Oracle too to give readings. As you can see, in the space of one lunar month, life is beginning to flow again and it’s added a different twist. We get wrapped into believing that change for the better happens slowly, unlike change for the worse which always seems to hit us fast and heavy. I’m amazed how much has happened so quickly and if it can happen to me, it can happen to you too. This is a day packed with power. We have the solstice and a full moon. Set your intention today to transform, if that’s what is in your heart, then follow your intuition or hunches because they will lead you to where you need to go. Allow your world to unravel. Say yes (even if it scares you silly) and be open to whatever the Universe has in store. For the last half of this year, let’s make it amazing. I don’t know about you but I’m fed up with mediocre. Aren’t we worth more than that? Wishing you all you desire under the warmth of the sun and the mystery of the moon.
